Godaddy

Why does Godaddy have such a bad reputation among people on the internet? I have used them for several years now and never had a problem with their service.

Well... taking too long to answer the tickets, fixing issues ...its just too slow.

I only use them for domain names, for that, they are great.

I think that they also nickle and dime you for every little thing that they do. I use them to register domain names, but I use a different site for hosting purposes.

They do action hosting and if you accept a baby website that doesn't do eCommerce and doesn't await on server-side code, databases, etc. again hosting issues aren't too important so why not go for bargain hosting?

On the added hand, if your website or your clients' sites are for business and you charge complete database abutment (including automatic backups, etc.), bags of features, solid PHP abutment and 100% reliability, again I wouldn't go with any of the big companies who tend to be the "WalMarts" of hosting.

IMHO, you'd be bigger off with a dependable, abate aggregation who would pay absorption to you and accord you the time and abutment you wish and need. Of course, this agency you're traveling to pay added than 5 dollars a month!

They are great domain name registar here. Better use them for domain name registration and say hostgator.com or webhostgiant.com for web hosting. I believe they will be great couples.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the hosting division of GoDaddy outsourced?

They are more known as domain name registrar. And only last year they are quite active as web hosting provider.

Actually the issues about GoDaddy is about major slowness of the hosted site. I have also asked around and they say that GoDaddy is implementing some new technology . I have also read about some good reviews about this hosting support and they really do care about there customers concerns by seeing to it that they go over each problems sn fixed them
