Hi Nikki,

In general, when a company offers to move a site with the order of a new plan, they will perform a transfer of all data, email settings, etc from your existing hosting location (if applicable) onto their servers. This will help to maintain any settings you had with your previous cPanel host and helps to ensure a smoother transition.

From their website (URL: http://downtownhost.com/details.html#move):

"Site Move DownTownHost will move your files and emails from your old hosting
provider to our servers free of charge, to transfer your files, first
sign up for new account then submit a ticket into our support web site http://www.downtownhost.com/helpdesk/ including your old host user name and password.

Please note that we will be able to transfer your files if:
1. Your old account is still active (not suspended)
2. Your old username and password are working.
3. Your old host use cPanel(tm) control panel (not ensim, plesk, ..), If you are not sure what you are using now, then please contact us before
placing your order."
I hope this information helps clarify the term.

Moving from cpanel based host to another cpanel based host is just a matter of clicks for someone who has access to web host manager. Most hosts offer this service. All your files, emails database etc. will be set up exactly the same way.

I think the OP plans to move to Downtownhost.com company. This feature is free and I hope all will be done in the right way.
