Please help me in choosing web hosting

Hi everyone,
I am sorry for possible offtopic, but I need your help in find new web hosting provider as soon as possible, because my current host (bluehost.com) is kicking me off, they say 'your account is using a lot server resources', but my website gets only about 200 visitors per day and my disk usage is 1500 MB (maybe they do not like that?)

Anyway, what would be your recommendations for getting reliable web hosting? Where are you hosting your websites? Are you happy with your providers?

I am now checking http://www.hosting24.com/ - offer looks very nice, but is it real that they can provide unlimited disk space?
I have contacted them about this question and they say something that "These days 500GB disk drive costs only $30 per month, so if some day we will run out of disk space we will simply add new 500GB disk drive with almost zero costs and you can continue uploading without any problems".

What do you think about it? Maybe things have changed in last 4 years? With my current provider I get only 2GB of disk space for $10 per month..
Any ideas and suggestions are much appreciated.

The only reason they gave you for canceling your account was because you were using too many resources? With this amount of storage and traffic does not seem like it is a large amount of resources. Maybe your scripts were overloading the cpu which can create issues. Are you using wordpress? This is the script that most clients of mine seem to have resource problems with.

As for me I'd advise to use services from ServerPoint.com as they offer to update their clients' package plans using the coupon code B35. This process is flawless and fast.

I think you should doublecheck if Serverpoint.com coupon code is valid, as it's no longer on their web site, but they have significantly extended the amount of resources they are now offering in the site in the shared plans http://www.serverpoint.com/english/web-hosting.phtml

Another host whose plans I recommend to check is downtownhost.com, they offer happy2008 25% off all their deals.

Big companies sometimes make something like that!

Try another not too big provider!

I would suggest Ahosting.biz - they are quite reliable and quality provider as for shared hosting.

I signed up with a smaller host, Hudsonvalleyhost.com, and the owner, Ernie, has been incredible, creating a custom plan for my rather unconventional multi-domain hosting requirements. My credit card on file didn't go through, I didn't ckeck my emails for a considerable time, and I received a phone call instead of the usual account suspension.

I was a smaller host myself for many years, and I am simply impressed with this small company. I've been involved with the Internet since it first began, and I have never come across someone with as much integrity, who is willing to put in this much effort, as the host I now have.

The owner has gone out of his way to accomodate my particular requirements.

I'd strongly suggest seeing if this host can accomodate your requirements; if they can't, they'll let you know. I know hosting as a former host, and I am getting a very fair price for the plan I require, and the service is uncompromised.

As for the reliable provider I would suggest looking up Ahosting.biz, which is already mentioned here. The low prices but quality hosting and domain registering option, accredited by ICANN. I think it is worth of attention!

I think I have seen the OP's post at a different forum where his spam link was removed.

Obvious web hosting request as for me....
I think that first of all you need to avoid such unlimited offers.
Try to cover as much companies as possible.
You must have a good list of already suggested companies. I would recommend you looking on the https://aspnix.com/. The company which do not offer unlimeted offers but stable service instead. I believe for their long history they know how to do great web hosting for you.

Yes, I would also suggest do not get attention over the unlimited disk space providers or free hosting providers. Earlier I used free hosting providers to host my small website but as I had problem with their uptime so I decided to shift to paid hosting providers. Now I am using the hosting service from 24HostingNow since last 5 months and I am quite satisfied with their service. You can touch them at: http://www.24hostingnow.com/
If you need any info, please let me know.
