Too Many Spammers

Hi,

I've seen today that all hosting forums are flooded with posts like this one:

"Are you looking for the best web hosting offers? Looking for shared web hosting? What about dedicated web hosting? Just looking for low cost web hosting or need web hosting. Would PHP web hosting meet your needs? Or even Linux hosting? http://www.-------.com provides you with details on the web hosting you need."

Please report these threads and posts to forum moderators. These are pure SPAM. If we tolerate them the will no be hosting discussions very soon. They are killing the discussions.

I agree entirely - they are ruining this forum to be honest. About a quarter of the posts I read are junk -> not what I came here for.
Plus, this could scare off potential new users, which is something you want to avoid.

I've always thought that if a host is too dumb to advertise in the correct section, then they are too dumb to care for my websites, what happens if the accidentally delete my account not someone elses?

There are half a dozen threads just saying "the best web host" and the likes. I am a relatively new member here and it really is a big turn off to encounter such junk.

Yea, that's a acceptable point. There accept to be a plan about for that though. At the least, the mods could alert for such posts.

I apperceive no anti-spam arrangement is absolute but I anticipate it's just base if new hosting comapnay appear in to this appointment and column ads as "answers" to people's questions that are just spam for their sites. I accept been flagging them like crazy and it assume like there are more... not less.
