The guys wrote a whole article only to get "nice" from you there are some things I don't find proper such "Is the web hosting service compatible with Dreamweaver or FrontPage web authoring tool?"... Why Dreamwaver...? Another thing.. What this "If you can't afford less than $10 per month, you probably will not be in the online business for the long haul" got to do with the title "How To Choose The Right Web Hosting Service".

And this one, the whole paragraph - "Similarly, the bandwidth requirement will depend on your site traffic estimation. Obviously, a website that expect to attract high traffic will consume the monthly bandwidth allowance very fast. If so, you will need to find one web hosting service that offer huge bandwidth with 40 GB to 100 GB per month. Depending upon your website requirement, choosing a web hosting service that provide sufficient amount of disk space and bandwidth is crucial consideration to prevent paying extra costs in the future should you overuse the monthly disk space and bandwidth allowance" - refers to overselling.

I would say that of all the above requirements, the most important is to consider the disk space or bandwidth requirements. I have a doubt here. How much will be the disk space and bandwidth required for a community site like orkut to have for about 125 members? They will have to update number of photos there.

Nice info. But I am also not agree with the price factor. It's not always necessary that you need to spend $10/month for a small website in order to get good service. Some websites are small but makes a load and can be accomodated for very lower prices.

Generally prices doesn't signifies the quality at that extent, obviously it does somewhat.

But the main price factor depends on the Advertisement and Affiliate programs run by that company. Let us say, a company pays $50 per affiliate(many are paying much more than this) for an yearly package of $80 to $100. So the money left with them in first year is $30 to $50, so they have to serve you in this. Another company which doen't have such affiliate program can easily offer you the same for $30 to $50, with having same profit

Very good and well described list of requirements to look for in a web hosting company. There are several choices to consider when looking around. I have always found that technical support is what really sets one host apart from another.
