sure no prob

Absolutely, I'd either Google guides and NOT use their sponsored links (those usually turn up adsites that spam you with banners and vital but vapid statistics) or you can check out text-only sites like: http://1nf0rmat10n.com/webhosting which breaks things down by categories (personal/small business/professional/etc...) for people who might not know exactly what they need in terms of ecommerce tools, bandwidth, etc... basically, don't pick by price and options unless you know what you want - pick by what you're going to use your hosting for instead.

Best of luck!

One of my concerns on the rating systems... They should provide a file limit count in the
rating information. I found that while dot5 indicates 200 gig space they don't tell you up front there is a 50,000 file limit.....

Thanks for the info. But you describe an ideal hosting. In a reality something always will be not so good. Therefore it is necessary will concentrate on the most important moments for your site.

Views about my host...

I also had the same thought that an ideal hosting would be not something reality for me. Luckily one day i happen to come across servage.net and i checked the website. I found it nice but was not sure that whether i should sign up or not. Then after a lot of research i finally signed up and now i feel that my choice was perfect. After 3 months of sign up i have no regrets and i hope that in future also i don't have any.

Hey dude you are welcome and hope my views have been some sort of help to you. I have actually gone through a lot of research about various hosts and their policies. Found Servage little more promising by their plans and signed up with them. Guess it should be a good experience for you as well.

Found an interesting research - end user perspective for ISPs, based on real monitoring data on 30,000 websites. ISPs are ranked by popularity, uptime and performance. See http://blog.mon.itor.us/?p=325

The main thing to look for is legit testimonials. People who have used the service and post in these kinds of communities is your BEST gauge.
