Today the era is of website and there are lots of websites being designed but sometimes designers make silly mistakes in the web design and some mistakes are stated bellow:

1. There is no search option:

In the website the main part is searching. When visitors visit the site at that time they look the search option. But designers are not giving this option properly if the site is too complex and large. That’s why visitors leave the website without viewing.

2. The color of visited hyper links is not changed:

The navigation of the website helps visitors where to go in the website and it happens when designers change the color of visited hyper links. The benefit of changing color of visited link is that users can easily know which pages they have already visited. Otherwise they will visit same page frequently.

3. Use of Non scalable text:

Sometimes designers use the dark images over the text and that’s why readers cannot read the text properly and they get difficulty to use the website and they suddenly leave the website.

4. Break the links in the design of website:

In the website all the links must be work properly. Designers should give all main links on each and every page but sometimes they will not give all links on the page and therefore users cannot find the information properly from the website.

I think one mistake web designers make is a design that is too elaborate. If the design takes over it can make a website too complex and frustrate visitors.

To attaract more visitors the designers will use more flash files it will increase loading time it is also one of the common mistake done by the designers..
