      Tools for Memory/Disk/CPU

      Hello Allo,

      There are lots of tools out there to check memory/cpu/disk usage. Here are the basic tools:

      For memory use you can use

      free command

      CPU Usage

      top command

      Disk Usage

      iostat

      Also, you can use vmstat, etc...

      to check network issues you can use ethtool

      Thanks,
      David K.

      Thumbs up For Memory/Disk/CPU

      Dear All,

      you can try with the
      $ top command itself
      It will display overall system status - uptime, load average, process counts, CPU status, and utilization statistics for both memory and swap space.

      Else try it with mpstat tool How do I Find Out Linux CPU Utilization?

      I really don’t know much about the necessity of a disk, CPU and memory for a computing device. Please tell me more information about them.
