    Filezilla FTP Server Problem

    This may not be the right forum, apologies if it is...

    I'm using the newest FileZilla FTP Server application, one server is being stubborn with permissions. Typically I've never had to set anything except the permissions in FileZilla, but for some odd reason it's saying "Directory Listing Denied" or something to that effect when I try and FTP to the server. It's on Windows server 2003 and the folders have all the default windows permissions. Not sure why this server is being so difficult. Any input?

    Are you getting that error message while trying to upload files via FTP? It seems same error with Filezilla server has been discussed before, which seems to be related with the network service permissions.

    Can you try anpther FTP manager to doule check if you have the same problem there?

    Change your connection in FileZilla settings to be in Active mode.

    Does the issue still persists? If so, please try using another FTP client as WindowsASPNet suggested and see the results.

    It looks like the issue is with the permission. You can resolve this issue by setting windows user rights. Refer this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/812614 and set the user rights. This will solve your issue.

    I seem to be finding an error when using Filezilla server for uploading files through FTP? Has anyone else faced this problem or know a solution to it?
