Has anyone tried the new Quad Core chips from Intel? If so what are they like?
Do they use much power?Last edited by Connexions4London; 02-12-2007 at 01:21 PM. Reason: Typo

I've ordered one to test it out for some projects. I will post some review once I've tested it for a while.

I think a lot of people (well, at least me) were disappointed that no new Macs were announced. The new quad-cores could have just been one of the many new tricks inside a new model. Perhaps new models will be released the same time as the new OS (perhaps with Blu-ray)?
