ejabberd on a windows VPS HELP!

i can install ejabberd on my home computer just fine (1.2ghz and 368 ram) but when i try to install it on my windows server 2003 VPS from vpsland (240 ram, not running anything at the moment as there are no sites that are currently pointed to it, so no load) it installs, then right at the end of the setup it gets stuck.... could some ports being closed cause this? other than that i am stumped as i checked my processing during the install (which was quite fast) there was less than 60% of my processor being used..... any help would be great. thanx

Some times vps do not show correct stats to the user. The stats are more correct for the admin. I have experianced some issues where it was going slower than normal and I was actually using more. I would recommend seeing if you can get more ram/processor power and see if that helps. As well check and see that the program will install on windows server. I have seen where some programs will not install correctly.
