    Question Blocked IP range

    Good Afternoon

I been using IV hosting for the past 10 month and have been pretty happy with the service but now I have a issue where I am not able to access any of my site from home through my ISP (local cable company) I have talked to both IV hosting and the cable company and both are blaming each other IV hosting says that they do not block any IP’s and the cable company is saying that it is IV hosting blocking their entire rang of IP’s

Does any one have any ideas?

The DataCenter could be blocking the IPS. Sometimeas the DC does step in if there a DDOS attack from a ip range.

You can try to use "tracert" to find out where it has been blocked

If the trace doesn't bear any fruit. Install etheral and trace the packets and see what exactly is being dropped at the DC.

It could be a false positive on their IPS.
