Well I think it is solid because it appers many people are doing these kind of services these days and web hosting companies start to outsource support more which saves them a lot compared to hiring their own staff.
Right, it's cost saving and time saving too, but it's important to get a reliable and reputed outsourcing company that can understand well your specified need and able to deliver and render the service and support extendedly well consistent to your growth.
Outsourcing support is pretty popular right now. Now depending on your views that is a good or a bad thing. I'd say though that your hardest battle is going to be with building your reputation for being a good, solid and reliable company to do buisness with.

Well, I think building reputation and reliability is equally important to any business not only limited for outsourcing company. It's most important role of outsourcing companies is to understand the problem and challenge the customer usually face in their business and how they could use their service to address them meeting their opportunity and objectives.
In fact they should synthesize and prioritize across customer needs by balancing them with their capability and able to translate it to the technical advancement in more significant way addressing to customer needs.
I think you'll agree that customer satisfaction is the real reward at marketplace and their word of mouth itself build the reputation.
When the customers start representing the companies' one can start easily gaining the reputation and reliability, I think that will be much better than any competing solution as it seems incomparable.
