Paypal only - bad idea?
For my hosting I only accept Paypal - is this a bad idea? Am I missing out on a large market by not accepting credit cards and the such?
I'm not a big fan of credit card fraud, had some troubles in an ulterior buisness :/ That's why I prefer to only accept PayPal. Any opinions?

I dont think paypal is a bad idea, though it all depends upon your location and the amount you are expected to process.

PayPal is excellent, of course they can't satisfy everything but I use 2co for mm cc processing and I soon plan to upgrade to a payment standard pro where I will be able to accept cc's via my paypal account because I don't like having 2 different merchants for billing.

Paypal is probably the most popular. There is nothing wrong with accepting Paypal but I don't think they like accounts with high volume of cash.

I do not think working with paypal is a bad idea because itís enormously popular. Although, if paypal determines to "investigate" your account. They will not hesitate to suspend it including all your funds within it. So be careful and donít save all your money within the account.

If you are looking for alternate option for EU, chronopay might be good option.

The only problem with Paypal is that they are avery large company with a pretty large customer base. They boast over 86 million people. It is not a scam but what happens is - a lot of people sign up thinking Paypal is easy and they do not read the TOS.
You have people under 18 using Paypal and then when Paypal freezes their account, they complain. Or people start selling items not supported by Paypal. And when Paypal freezes their account, they complain. And of course they will complain as much as possible people they hope that complaining will get them somewhere.
First, look at what you are doing now and see if another company (in conjunction with Paypal) might be a good choice. It depends on where you are and your volume.
