$1.49 .INFO Domain Names - Too Good to be True?
I just read where DirectI is offering .INFO domain names for $1.49.
There's a press announcement about it on their site today.
Offer good through June 30, 2006.
Seems like a good deal - but I'm skeptical. What do you think?

I wouldn't be suprised if it's a .info.
Though if you think it sounds too good to be true it probably is...even if you spend $5 more for peace of mind it's worth it.

Directi is a good registrar, no catch there. Stargate.com is also a good one, and they're offering .info domain names at $1.99.

I think there's lots of deals on .INFOs out there. Godaddy offers them at $1.99 but you need to buy hosting with it. Just recently picked up about 100 .INFOs at Hostway for $1.45 a piece...that includes tax and ICANN but it's a limited time offer. Other than that, sometimes registrars like 1&1 will give them away free if you buy hosting or email.

.INFO domains cost around 1 - 2$ in these times. My favourite domain registar(domainsite) offers 1,99$ with all possible services included. But don't get too enthuziasmatic, .info domains don't have a future.
