Does my age really matter?
Older people on the net usually call me a liar, or they disrespect me or say bad things.
I am only 14 if you want to believe me because thats the truth, everyone tries to take advantage of me because I am young and they are old.
Can you please tell me if my age bothers you.

age doesnt bother me but you have to think about what others feel...they see you as young and unstable as a company.....if you want to become successful you need to Prove yourself to everyone.....thats simply the best way...prove you are a stable company and such.......Luke Moran

Basically in the end your company can not be legal as at least in the UK you have to be at least 16 before you can start your own company. That is why people do not trust you. I am fine with it to be honest, as long as you know what you are doing and are willing to put the time and effort into it.Seeksadmin - For all your administration and security needs.

On the internet you have no age. In the end you will by judged by your performance. Although children usually are not old enough to be bound to contracts, this is generally misconstrued. In otherwords, it's not legal for a person to knowingly contract with a minor, however laws do not prevent minors from contracting with persons. The laws will not necesarily protect a minor from their contractual duties either, especially if fraud is envolved.
Personally I think most people are harsh to young entreprenuers, because those people are intimidated. You should just remove your age from the equation (never mention it). I've heard of many young people that run outstanding businesses. And although youth often lacks experience and wisdom, I personally think young people should start a business as soon and as often as possible. It will benefit them a great deal. In the end the world is theirs.

As far as you being on the boards and talking to you one on one, hey no problem here! I wish I knew all I do now at your age.. means I might know a little bit more now. As for the world of Web hosting you might run into a few problems here and there because of your age. Not sure about all the legalities, because well.. I'm far from a lawyer, but it might be something intresting to look into. Better to be safe than sorry. The Web Hosting Show - The Voice of the Web Hosting World

Its annoying when you are like 10 and then you turn into a teen you sure notice the different way people treat you when your looking in shops, you get searched and accused of stealing.

Well like 000000000 said on the internet you have no age but still you will need some older person to run the company for you , of course you will run with him/her. The reason of which they think young hosts are always bad is because most of them are bad as I have seen by myself . I once saw a company owned by 15 year old guy who use to mess with the clients .In fact I even heard some people made a payment for getting a hosting package with him but opened then closed it within one week claiming of violations of his AUP/TOS.
But finally his hosting company has been suspended by the original hosting provider because he was a reseller. So those are some of the reasons which make people don't trust you but always you have trust yourself and don't worry about it

hidden your real age !!!
