Dan says the true! It depends on what's your daily budjet,
what will you advertise, what are your keywords etc.
We have quite good budjet for google AdWords and for some
of our sites we're pleased at the result.
If you want to advertise a hosting company you have to
have quite big budjet to receive a good result!

The webhosting industry is very expensive in the sense of adwords and other pay per click results.

I actually emailed Google to ask some questions myself and they gave me a $10 credit just for emailing them and sent me out a PDF file that explained everything a lot better and easier than the site did. There's a certain amount advertisers are willing to pay per click and your ppc, if you're bidding more, is automatically adjusted to the highest bid of everyone else. You set the daily budget for clicks and you only pay for click throughs. It's neat also that you can even specifiy which parts of the state you want as an audience say if it's a local club site or an appraisal company you only pay for focus groups you choose. I suggest just dropping them a line and asking for a little help.
