Weird Email Issue.
Im not even sure if Ive put this in the right category but anyway here goes:
One of my local web hosting clients has been having alot of problems accessing their email. I asked their technician to find out if the problem was on their side. He came back saying that he saw nothing wrong with their setup that could have caused these problems. I checked the DNS settings to see if this had anything to do with it but nope, nothing wrong there.
I have a feeling the problem is resulting from the way their internal networking is setup since NONE of my other clients have these problems. (Their employess all share the same Internet Connection via a proxy server [if that helps you to help me any].
Some of the problems experienced:
a) Error messages / inability to access the respective mailboxes; access only achieved after several attempts
b) Messages sent by one user but not received by another
c) Messages sent by one user but not received by an external intended recipient
d) Messages sent by one user but received by another user a day or several days later
and the most common one they complain about :
e)Error message saying "Unable to connect to Sent Items Folder".
They are using Outlook Express.
Thanks for any help or suggestions you can offer me guys, I posted this question over at WHT sometime ago but only one person responded . Appreciate it.

You may want to suggest they try another program like mozilla thunderbird and see if the problem remains. I have known outlook be a pain in the neck on more than one occassion.http://www.datacentertalk.com
