JSP Vs PHP
There is application wrote in JSP. Can we able to convert into PHP. If you have any idea please let me know.

It is possible but its not going to be easy. The two langauges are so different that you would need atleast one developer who knows both JSP and PHP to pretty much rewrite the JSP app in PHP.

Yes, Lippy is correct there is no such a tool to do it. You need to do manually by looking at codes.

I would just start from fresh. Conversion tools never work as they are supposed too.

Its too expensive to convert the whole code If the application was big then you shall get good number of coders to start over working on it and its will take time and alot of money.
I really suggest that you use JSP as its. JSP is very fast but its not compatible so much with any linux, unix, windows version its can run good but on time its will be too heavy load on the system.
but if you use JSP with solaries you'll notice the speed of it and the power you can get from the application.
this is just a seggustion

What is wrong with leaving it as JSP?
It's faster and more secure.
(Note: I am a php fanatic, I don't care for JSP, so no bashing )

I highly recommend that you stick with JSP rather then PHP
PHP is a block buster but i think dont its very good for huge and securtiy based sites.
