Purely Hypothetical but interesting questionI was browsing some seo forums today and i came across a very interesting question.....
"If You Could Spam The Search Engines, and be sure to never get caught, would you?
You figure out a method to get top 10 rankings every time, but it would be considered spamming the engines, for whatever reason.
It's something that you could never get caught at (even if that doesn't sound possible, just play with me for purposes of this discussion).
No search engine would know, no competitor would no, heck even your client wouldn't have to know.
Would you do it?"
Now this ended up with a 13 page debate, so i thought to get some thinking juices flowing around here....i would ask the same one here. What do you guys think? Is it worth it to spam if you wouldnt get caught? what do you think?

No I wouldn't. Google's systems are the best in the world. They would eventually figure it out, sandbox your domain and account, and you'd have no way to recover. You would loose all Google traffic over the long run.
Definitely a designers worst nightmare.
