Thread: ModernBill, PerlBill?
02-26-2003, 10:56 AM #1northwindGuest
Which would you prefer.
I am currently testing out modernbill right now with their 30 day test trial.
If possible, can you list the prices on both.
I would like to purchase the license, not lease monthly.
Also, the feature I like in perlbill, is that perldesk is integrated.
The thing is, I don't know if a trouble ticket is nessary at this point.

Well, I find PerlBill attractive, but its lack of the ability to to integrate with Plesk is a turn-off.
So in that case, I would have to go with Modernbill. It has a Plesk module (how easy is this to setup?) and multiple-server support (ditto here?). I believe Modernbill has a built in support center.
PerlBill License: $199.99
Modernbill Owned License: $499.95

I was looking into buying their unlimited plan because I believe in a few months it would be a waste of money and I would of been able to pay it off.
But its $500. WOW.
Still looking into it though.
I will most probably go with

actually, I dont have it set-up as of right now. Still need to upload a module. But it seems very simple with plesk. Also works with ensim, cpanel.
