I have registered domains in Israel and they are a bit peculiar on how their process goes. For instance I registered a .org.il and a .co.il domain with them. They first off require that an actual corporation or individual own the domain. So if your registering a domain for a non/profit org they won't do it unless you register it in your name. Secondly each individual is only allowed to register 10 domains under their name. Lastly they require all orders from the US to be verified by calling them. They say it's to validate the request for the domain and make sure it's a legit request. I hope this can help some people for use of Israeli domains.

The registration of each country's domain is totally different. For China, thier TLDs are easily available from eNom. For UK, their TLDs are easily available among most registrars.
For Singapore, when you see one having a .com.sg, you will know that this particular company is 100% registered with the RCB.
For Israel, I would say its a very interesting process of registering a Israeli domain.
