/tmp script execution
Hi,
What are the steps we can take to prevent executin script on /tmp dir.
Ther is a option to have seprate partion and we can make that as non execution.
Is any other method or anything available?
Thanks

Personally I just make an extra partition and make it so that it is not executable... it is the best method

Well partition size depends on how active your site is... you may also want to add a cron to empty it every so often as if it is full it causes problems with sessions etc.

on cpanel server you should try:
/scripts/securetmp if you don't have a separate /tmp partition.
Also 1GB of /tmp is most of the time more then enough.WebmasterLingo Community - please check it out
