DNS cluster / DNS server / DNS services
I'm fairly new to the hosting business as I am a web designer with little server management knowledge (the business has been pushing towards server administration as you can see). I have read that DNS clustering or DNS services can help on what I have.
I have two 2 vps running already with my client websites, however, I do not like the idea of having many nameservers and/or create new nameservers for each additional vps I get.
Also, I have been reading about it is not good to have nameservers on the same subnet.
So, all this I understand can be fixed getting a dns cluster (using a third vps as the dns server) or a third party dns service.
Both of my vps run cpanel, so I'm reading about cpanel dns only thingy. However, not sure if this would be the best idea.
I'm afraid about doing some move now that my vps have websites already as I do not want to cause downtime with this move. Is there a way to make this seamlessly ?
Thanks in advance for helping out

I think you should have a good command of the relations of name server from hosting company and registrar so that you can understand the essence to solve your problem. Good luck.
