serveradmins
Has anyone here ever dealt with http://serveradmins.net ?? I've only heard good things about them and just wanted to be sure that they are the people I need. Please post any opinions or experiences about them. They are well known, but i'm just covering all my bases! Thanks.

No experience although from the look of that site, its a template or parts have been ripped from around the internet. Secondly, they have only been around (or under that name) for less than 2 months. Finally they are not even fully in google,http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ser...UTF-8&oe=UTF-8.
a few that i know have a genuine service with a reasonable price are:
http://www.cheetaweb.com/
http://www.easyservermanagement.com/
Do a search on the ev1servers.net forums for information about both.

does it matter if the site is a template or not really? what matters is their skill. i hardly doubt a bunch of unix admins can put decent site together
not defending, just voicing my opinion and hopefully sparking a conversation.

I have no problems if a site is a template, self designed or designed by a design firm, so long as i am not doing business with them.
To me, a template for a business shows lack of either 1 - interest, or 2 - financial status.
To me, a company can afford $500 (Most genuine companys with serious interest and capital to invest into that company should have no problems with that amount for a good site design) or alternatively, spend time getting a design together themselves. I personally think a template on a compnay website screams 'unprofessional'
At the end, as you said 'the look doesnt matter' its what they actually do that matters' obviously, what they are doing is server administration.
My other comments, regarding the time period of which their site has been around could also be answered in a similar way to that of the templates - Every compnay has to start somewhere. I agree with that comment 100%.
Looking around at the remainder of the website, i have found a few other comments...
'Our management has 30 years of combined experience in the webhosting industry'
That is one of the most hard to believe comments I have found on a server administrators website. I believe 'real' internet was only founded in the very late 1970's, before that we would be referring to Arpanet, and im sure remote server administartion along with your normal hosting company did not exist around that time!
Also, from looking around their website i cant appear to find what their 'server administration' includes, all i can find is
Our main emphasis is Unix webhosting environments, in particular Apache, PHP, MySQL, BIND9, but not limited to these.
