any server linked up to any WAN or LAN is vulnerable to a hacing attemp unless its secured and even then, there are likely to be ways of hacking it.
If your new to the server world then id recommend installing a firewall and update your software to latest versions. Also, try to keep safe-mode enabled as much as possible - 100% is obviously the safest therefore making your server less vulnerable

xP. Although Safe-Mode can be used as a precaution, it really won't due much.
Anyserver can get hacked, wheather there is a firewall or not, it can get hacked.

Any machine, connected to the Internet, regardless of OS, is hack-able. There is no such thing as un-hack-able.

Not just the internet, any network, WAN or LAN, allows the computer / server to be hacked.
