Thread: NO MORE NETSOL

So, will Network Solutions try to get some parting money from me if I try to change registrars? It seems like something they would do. Oh yeah, and how can I get them to stop giving my information to every random company that comes by? Don't they have a "do not sell my info to everyone on internet" form? Or have they already stopped this evil?

You can transfer your domain registrar away from NetSol without incurring a NetSol fee. But the registrar you move to will usually charge a year of domain fees. An extra year will be tacked on.
But be careful with the timing of your move. I believe if you are within 60 days of renewal date, you will not be able to transfer registrars. Make sure to inquire about the constraints.
Godd luck.

There are so many registrars around; why suddenly mention netsol ?
www.rackshack.net offers domains now at only USD5.00 (excl. tax)
www.namecheap.com offers at USD8.88

Rackshack is offering the domains for US$5.41. They are using OpenSRS's system. You don't need to search the net for domain names since they are the cheapest. However, their support can be quite slow...

If you are good enough, why bother about the support provided by your registrar?
