Thread: My personal site's design
05-03-2003, 11:54 PM #1LogicGuest
This is the site for me and my family, and I want your advice on a few things (not just the design)
1.) What should I do to the design... I'm not changing the colors since that is what my whole family (but me) agreed on... :P
2.) What forums should I use... I like Invision, but I wanna try something else...
3.) Are there any portals that coincide with Invision? If so, which ones?
4.) Does anyone know a good ASP & PHP host?

Nice simple clear layout, I like it a lot. Especially the double-up effect of the logo. Good work.

Wow... not bad... keep up the good work. By the way, what are you going to do with the ASP feature? If you are planning to run a forum using ASP, then I would advise you not to do so. You should go for PHP if you want forums because ASP forums can be slower than PHP. There is one local forum that uses Snitz Forum but they changed to PHP when their member database started to grow because the forum is loading slower and slower.

lol.. nah... I'm gonna use Invision (most likely) as a forum... :P i just want to do some ASP work and be able to show it off online... :P Right now I've got a Journal Script written, but I can't test it since all my hosts don't support ASP... I am trying to see what I can do though... but before I get ASP hosting and all that I'd like to get a few jobs done first :P
btw... ram, you didn't help me any... I'm glad to hear that you think I can improve the site a lot, but for all I know you're just saying that out of spite or cuz you wanna look hard... :P (jk)... But how can I improve?
