I have to tell you that purchasing this software is not worht the money, reason being you will lose out in the long run. I can get anohter live chat software at a one-time $100 instead of paying for $100 for 10 months.

I agree, for such a script like this, its better just to purchase it.

http://www.phplivesupport.com/ - this one's quite good too but maybe a bit expensive..

How can you say that.. If you buy the script you still have to host it. The other software out there will not allow you to transfer chats, and they don't have all the features this one does..
I know I have tried them all. The other ones you pay $100 you do not get all the features and have to install the scripts, maintain them, etc....
This product compares to the big chat programs like LivePerson, HumanClick, etc and they don't chare $100 per month per operator like the big companies do...
Stop being so cheap.. it's only $9.95 a month and you get all the features, it's hosted for you,you get free upgrades.. what more can you ask for....

Also calling them cheap is probably not the best way to get their business!

Even if the software was $1,000 I would rather pay it than sit there and pay $10 per month for something I can own outright. Besides... They are empowered by CIhost. I won't touch anything that involves CIHOST!!! I want a chat sofware that's going to be there when I need it. Even more so... when my customers need it.

What is wrong with CI Host? I have nothing to do with this site. I just found it and use it and like it. CI Host has 185,000 clients... they must be doing something right...

I never said you had anything to do with them, but I have had terrible problems with CIHOST, so any company that has anything to do with them I won't use. Go onto google and do a search of CIHOST. You will find hundreds of reasons why they aren't doing good. They ripped me off $300 for starters, but don't take my word for it. Search them out.

Agreed, CI-Host is one of those big companies with many complaints.
Also, if you do indeed a support program like that, I am pretty sure hosting companies would use it. If we are the hosting company, why would we have an issue of hosting it?
We aren't being cheap, just being logical. Why would you pay $10 a month for a script that you can just pay upfront for. In 10 months you would pay it off and anything after that is just wasted money.
