Beware resellers and server owners
About an hour ago my server was shutdown due to this guy spamming with perl scripts and other means. I suspended his account and he said he was just using the Cpanel backup and that may have been the cause of the high cpu usage LOL
I found the script in his cgi-bin and he set it up on 4 or 5 of his accounts.
The guys name is Lee McCorkle with redtiehosting(dot)com.
He has several websites that he uses for spamming and here are a few to watch for:
If he gets on your server you better get him off quick or you will get stuck by this SPAMMER!
You have been warned

Well the best thing you can do to minimize spammers is have a form of fraud protection in place. Most spammers will not pass a fraud check. If someone signs up with a .UK email address and has all US based information they are a spammer, fraudulant setup and more than likely would phish if they had the chance. For the most part you should keep logs in place and at the first signs suspend/ delete the account. It is not worth keeping one person who can blacklist an IP especially a shared hosting IP in the end.
