Hello - I am new to this website and it's forums but am in need of some help regarding PHP. I dont understand it and am trying to teach myself. That being said it is my understanding that if I want to verify the version I can do this from the command line by typing: php -v.
I tried that after remoting into the server
but I got unrecognized command. How exactly can I determine what version of php is running when I wasn't the person whom installed and configured it?
Please be specific with answers as I am new to php.
