For my experience some times it is not so easy to get listed in MSN. I have one site (old enough), which wasn't indexed by MSN for a long time (or only few pages form hundreds), even after I added URL manually. Now situation took a turn for the better.. Any way, I don't understand, why did it take so long.

I've been running sites for a few years on the net now, and within a week they have been listed in MSN. That being said, most of my search engine referals come from Google and Yahoo.

So, you're saying there's no point in getting listed in MSN and better stick to Google and Yahoo?

The more search engines you manually list to the better, Google,Yahoo seem to be the best ones for me MSN's not bad either. For our site we pay for Seach Engine Optimisation, its not cheap but i think its worth it
