How to improve PR?

My website needs a good PR and therefore, I have tried out different techniques of optimization through which I can get a better ranking in my site. However, I was really surprised with the results from Google. I could get the attention of the web content and the currently I am satisfied that I have about 80% of unique content. At the same time, I have also noticed that there are no such spam links in the site. The RSS feed on the content of my site is pretty amazing. What are the things that I should do in this context?

Initial SEO, site promotion, link building can help a site to get page rank of either 2-3 OR 4. To get higher than this in the initial stage is somewhat hard, but if extra link building with good sites is done then its possible. Also black hat methods can give you page rank of 5-6 in one night but it is never recommended as this page rank from black hat methods never last for long period. try these steps to improve your page rank
1.use meta tags-use it with commas. and do not repeat a word more than 3 times
2.include atleast one link to google.
3. use invisible test too. like colors like 00FF33 & 00FF66
4. use connective dots to each page
5. use atleast 3 pages to site and make sure you connect each page. you will get points from google when you give the kicker link to previous pages.
6. make sure your font is same through out your site. except for headers.
7. update your site often
8.create backlinks to other sites which link to your site.
