    Which is the best open source language for web development.

    I think it really depends on your goals. PHP is a really easy one, that's perfect for mysql. But Ruby on rails is pretty slick too. I personally think perl over complicates things, but i'm sure some would disagree with that. Python is very easy too and nice.

    In my opinion, PHP is the best Web development language because it is very easy to code. Most of the syntax are same as C and C + + language. It is mainly run on major server platform and provides a great safety feature, making it more reliable.

    I double this opinion! I've programmed using many different language in my life, but I find PHP the total package. It was really easy to pick up the syntax and learn. The flexibility and integration with PHP is phenomenal as well. PHP, mySQL, jQuery, really make for a great combo in my mind. Highly recommended if you were looking to try it out!

    Ruby Open SSL extension uses SSL all option, the combined option of Open SSL for various bug workarounds that should be rather harmless, for all SSL connection
