Suggest the best distro for Linux newbies
Hi guys, as the title says i want to switch over to Linux and would like to know which distro to go for. My knowledge on Linux is very limited.

I'd recommend Ubuntu. It's very user friendly and has the look and feel of windows but still has the power of linux if you want to delve deeper.

and fedora is good, for ubuntu you can fiind many things that you nees (software and documentation)

Linux Mint is also worth a look. Why not try a few and see which you like best. Choosing a Linux distro can be quite a personal thing

Ubuntu or Fedora would be my recommendation. Both have really good communities for support.
