Ubuntu vs Mint
I recently checked out some Linux related forums and saw that Ubuntu and Mint are two of the most widely used versions of Linux.
I have a Live DVD of Ubuntu but haven't checked it out yet.
Anyone got some suggestions regarding which one I should use??

I personally prefer Ubuntu and find it's better because its so closely related to Debian. I love my RH based distros for servers but for desktops I really like Ubuntu. There is also a huge support community for Ubuntu.

I'm amazed windows still doesn't throw on multiple desktops by default. Linux has had that feature for at least 10 years. I tried some windows xp tool to add multiple desktops and it worked alright apart from the occasional bluescreen... so not something useable in a work environment.

I for my part prefer Ubuntu and come across its better because it’s so closely associated to Debian. I love my RH based distress for servers but for desktops I really like Ubuntu. There is also a gigantic support population for Ubuntu.

Mint menu is complete, the three groups emerging at a time like GNOME and Ubuntu, which gives the feeling of the KDE distribution. Both Ubuntu and Mint are different, it is difficult to make a feature that is clearly distinguishable from the others.

Hi!
I think Mint is much more better than Ubuntu. Because it was set up the way many people would like a computer to run. I also felt that Mint was a lot faster than Ubuntu.
