Well, Hostgator.com is cheap ( I mean their shared plans), Dreamhost.com isn't expensive at all, as well as Ahosting.biz (both shared and reselling plans).

Well, I don't think you will get much useful information from the Host-Review site mentioned above. I cannot believe that they even use as an indicator the Google Page Rank for the hosts they are advertising - as if that could possible tell you how good the hosting or the support is !!

One thing you have to watch out for is that you might get what you paid for. Some hosting companies do not offer upgrades on previously paid for plans. So make sure that you know what you might need in the near future before you purchase a plan. Some places are much better than others as well.
