    HowTo: cPanel on port 80

Here's an interesting tutorial I wrote on how to use mod_proxy to allow your customers to access cPanel using port 80, in case other ports are blocked by a firewall.

I hope this might be useful for some...

There is a new feature in cPanel 11 called Proxy Domains. The reason behind this is to allow access to cPanel, WHM and webmail behind any firewall that blocks access to the respective ports. If proxy subdomains are enabled then you should be able to access cPanel, WHM and webmail as:

    cPanel: http://cpanel.yourdomain.com
    WHM: http://whm.yourdomain.com
    Webmail: http://webmail.yourdomain.com

Its redirection is managed internally by cPanel. It requires Apache to be recently compiled so that cPanel/WHM/Webmail/Webdisk Proxy subdomains VirtualHost should be configured. There is an option in WHM > Tweak Settings to enable it by default on all accounts and it can manually be enabled on any domain using /scripts/proxydomains script.

    You can try cpanelproxy.
It is a third party application. All you need is to download and configure it according to the instructions http://cpanelproxy.net or SourceForge.net: cPanel Proxy

I've been searching such a host some time ago.
Believe me, it's really hard to find something either
    cheap and good quality.
