This RAM, That RAM....which is which?
RAM, otherwise known as Random Access Memory, can be one of the most confusing parts of the computer to deal with. With so many variations of memory on the market today, how do you know which one to consider? Which type of RAM is best for you?

The main feature which is considered is it's speed. Speed depends on the clocking frequency. So, you should buy that RAM which suits your computer configurations. If you buy higher capacity RAM which is not compatible with your system than there is a speed problem. The latest computers come with 2, 3 and 4GB of RAMs. Which are sufficient for good speed. But, if your computer is some two to three years old than you would have 512MB or 1GB RAM. So, if you want to increase the speed, you can increase the RAM up to 2 GB by putting the RAM chip along with the other RAM chips. For that I think you should concern any hardware engineer.
