File Downloads
Hey can anyone tell me how to allow people to download a file? when i put the file in a link it just brings it up in another window, i can i get the dialog box to appear to allow them to download the file??
If anyone can help it would be much appriciated.

You could just tell people to right click and save as.

If its say an mp3 just get people to right click save target as.

Yeah, I vote for right-click as well. No reason to make it more difficult than it has to be.

If your using php, theres a force user download script. That might be complex if your only using html
