Once you have your products, you can use a simple online storefront script to help organize your products. Many of these can be found in the fantastico scripts.

Yes cafepress will help you do just what you want to do .Setting up your own shopping cart won't be that hard I guess

It shouldnt be that hard at all, especially if your host offers fantastico. There are some good carts that you can one-click install and then customize on there.
