Large Scale domain Registration

Ok.

I need to register large ammounts of domains anually.

like somewhere in the ball park of 1000-10000 domains a month. possibly a little more or less this is just my best guest bassed on current demand

I need this cost to be included in the cost of the server, or the rackspace that i will need,

Does some form of service like this exist, or is there a hosting company that can provide me large ammounts of domains for a flat rate, not just a 4.99 per year charge per domain name. at 40,000 in domain charges per year that is not good for the old company bank account.

also my other question is this.

how do registars work, in theory couldent i just setup my own, what would all be required for something like that.

Its very simple to register a domain.just go to the company from which you want to take domain......they will generate order for you and after your payment they will register it automatically...........
