1&1, stay away unless you wan't to buy hosting from them at the same time!
They don't tell you this (or they didn't when I bough a doamin from them) but they don't allow you any control over your doamin exept forwarding, that means no dsn, no nameservers no nothing."Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."

i buy uk domains from ukreg.com i buy all other domains such as .net .com from ev1.
they are the best companies hands down. might not be the cheapest but ive seen buying from them both for years and never had a problem.

I have mine registered at enom or either namecheap. Looking for other alternatives too.
If ev1's services are okay, I might just change over.

i prefer to buy my domain names through Godaddy.com....they have a excellent reputation and might not be the 6.95 ppl ur lookin for but i know they give you full and total control over your domain. Also maybe look into gettin an enom account they can be profitable if you use it right.....but yea....Godaddy.com is where i would buy my domain from.

Would love to get the enom's 7.95 account.
Is that the cheapest enom has to offer?
