How does including "the" at the beginning of domain affects it?

I was just wondering how does adding "the" at the beginning of domain affects its worth or brand. I want to register a domain but its now available. Should i go with the domain thexxxx.com ?

Generally the shorter the domain the more its worth.

You may also run into problems with "the" in the domain as your visitors may get directed to the domain with "the" in front when searching for you in google.

I'd recommend a memorable name that isn't in use by anyone else. Much easier to brand.

Doesn't look like I can edit my previous post. I meant your visitors may get directed to the domain without the "the".

I think you need to remember this thing for it. You may also run into problems with "the" in the domain as your visitors may get directed to the domain with "the" in front when searching for you in google. I'd recommend a memorable name that isn't in use by anyone else. Much easier to brand. It is really very important.

Like everyone else has said, "the" can/will affect results when users search for the site.
