    registered domain

    If the current web master isn't giving up the registrar info. they are probably even registered under his name, but not the company owner's name. what can be done about this?

    What exactly are you asking? Are you asking who the registrar is? If so, that can be found in WHOIS.

    a lot of web hosting companies do register domain names for the customers using own contact info. That is being done to stick the customers.

    Lots of web hosting parties do files domain names for the clients using own contact information. That is being right to stick the clients.

    Only solution is to contact the person who is the current owner of the domain and ask him to email the hosting company for ownership transfer, Only he can help you in this regard

    Have You checked the Domain name whois information before...You can try to find the Contact information using the Whois search,to find that reach here Whoisxy Then if it private register means you can't find that...Public means you can find it...
