    domain with hyphen

Do hyphens in domains make a big difference? Does it reduce the value of the domain. what is your opinion about this ?

I don't think it makes a difference as far as search engines go but it will to the visitor.

If you can make a brand using your domain name I'm sure that doesn't matter what it includes.

They will be less memorable ones. In any case everything will depend on you and on what how you can develop it and make popular

a hyphen is one more thing for someone to remember when entering your domain into their browser. From a marketing/branding standpoint it's better to not have a hyphen in your domain

Totally depends on you, but it's hard to get type-in traffic with hyphenated domains. Also depends on countries, for example, in Germany, they like hyphenated domains. However, I do believe that it decreases the domain's value to some extent.

To get type-in traffic with hyphenated domains it’s really difficult though in the end it all is dependent on you. It differs country-wise as they like hyphenated domains in Germany.

Hm... I have never thought about that. Any particular examples or explanations why those domain names are good for Germany only?

If you can avoid using hyphens in the domain name because they make it less professional, the user remembers them harder => the domain has less value.

    Hello,

According to me if you keep hyphen in your domain name then the users need to remember it and it is less preferable to them. So better if you avoid using hyphen in your domain name..
