    whois

When you register domains, do you buy whois guard/protection as well?
Some registrars offer it for free, But otherwise, I don't really bother to pay extra for this service. I know my address and email are open for public viewing (and spam), but I am too stingy to pay for it. what is your idea about this issue ? thanks a lot.

Yes Do you need to protect Your Domain name from hackers ,spammer means while registering itself purchase the whois protection,i mean register it with privacy option...private Domain name registration is better....
A Private "Unlisted" Registration protects you from:

    • Domain-related spam
    • Harassers, stalkers, and data miners
    • "Moonlighting", home- or side-business identity disclosure
    • Privacy intrusions
You can register the Domain name with privacy option at
    Whoisxy.com
    Why buy from Whoisxy?

    • Free contact privacy! (most domains/TLDs)
    • Free easy-to-use domain manager!

    • Select from a large inventory of premium names!
    • Free easy to use DNS!

I suppose that you'd better choose the Domain Registrar that offers privacy protection for Free and has good reputation in the market.

WHOIS ID Protect certainly helps you to be safe to a certain extent. Whether to offer it free of cost or charge for it is upto the individual service provider. If you do not want to pay for WHOIS ID, best to go for a reliable domain registrar. They may be offering it as a bundle with domain registration.
