Planning to invest in a domain

Hi! I'm back and this time I'm back with a resolution in mind.
I'm planning to register a unique domain name with a dot net extension. Is that ok?
I also wanted to ask where I should buy my domain from? I want the cheapest deal for a .net domain (discount coupons will do!!)

Thanks for any opinions. And wish me luck.

Using a .net name is A-OK if it's a good name and it works for you. It is hard to recommend a good registrar when there are so many valid complaints about so many of them. I will tell you that I use GoDaddy when I'm not using my own reseller account to register names. GoDaddy is inexpensive. Just make sure you disable / refuse all of the extra features they try to sell you so you are ONLY paying for the domain name for the number of years you want. GoDaddy tries to pile on a bunch of extra services that they want to charge you for.

There is nothing wrong with .net extension. However, if you can get hold of .com, or if it's available for the same domain name that you are seeking, then if I were you I would get than one too. It's good to have both extensions. As far as domain registration is concerned, there are so many registrars, godaddy and moniker being the most popular ones. Anyway, good luck!

I couldn't agree more. I think a good domain name should be closed with the domain extension. domain extension plays an important role in this and focus on the relationships between them.

Why would you choose a .net over a .com? Would love to know the reason just curious why you went with a .net?

You need to do the search for the domain name registration service and that's it!
