Use of free domain names? Reliability

Has anyone already used the free domain names form marblehost? MMhosting? apthost? Dreamhost? any host?

I am to get a pachage from one of these, And I am wodering if I will save or profit getting a domains with the plans of theses providers?

I wonder if it is very dangerous moneyloss risk?

They are not domain name registrars they are web hosting providers and they are domain name resellers instead and I suppose there you have their domain name for free just having paif for annual for web host or something like that

I think domains should be purchase without trying to get a free one as now it's coming in such a low cost. also, free domain with hosting doesn't come with full featured control panel as well.

check and see if you can take the domain with you if you choose to leave the web host. If you are not then I would recommend that you just purchase the domain name as it is better to have control then give it up to someone after you have established yourself. I know that we only do domains on certain long term packages. So if after the package expires the client wants to go elsewhere they can.
