domain transfer time

HI All,

How long does it take to transfer domain from another domain registar. It is more than 4 days and not transfered yet.

Any input would be appreciated.

For the normal case, if the email to verify the transfer has been replied on time to accept the transfer, it should be within 48 hours.

Have you received an email asking about whether you want to transfer the domain ?

For me the average is always between 16 and 24 hours, although its recommended that you allow up to 72 hours for DNS chnages to propagate throughout the internet.

my provider Tucktail.com takes maximum of 7 working days to transfer domain from one host to another.
